ABOUT
Founded in 2021 by Aneri Mehta and Khushali Chawda, ACKM Studio is a Mumbai-based multidisciplinary design practice that views interiors not as backdrops, but as protagonists of lived experiences. The studio crafts spatial narratives across diverse scales — from immersive installations and cultural spaces to luxury residences, retail, and hospitality — always striving to balance function with emotion, and detail with atmosphere.
At ACKM Studio, interiors are not static shells but living systems — where transitions matter as much as destinations, and tactility becomes a language of its own. Each commission is a unique inquiry into how materials, form, and movement can shape experience.

Aneri Mehta is an architect with a Master’s Degree in Architecture from the University of Michigan. Having gained international experience while working in Spain with Menis Arquitectos and with Sean Ahlquist in Michigan she is committed to integrating materials and technology into design in India. She is currently a Visiting Faculty in Balwant Sheth School of Architecture, her alma mater. Through ACKM she aims to cumulate these investigations to create innovative and exciting spatial experiences.

Khushali is a Product and Interior Designer with a Master’s degree in Interior Design from the Royal College of Art. She has worked with 59 Productions, London & New York between 2017 - 2019 where was involved in various projects ranging from Scenography and Exhibition Design through to Installations. Her design philosophy is about developing products or spaces that tell a story and envelope the user in an experience without being conscious of it. Understanding human psychology is a critical element in my design process. She firmly believes that good design should be for everyone.
