Ekya - Residence
In Indore’s leafy neighbourhood stands Ekya, a 30,000 sq. ft. residence designed by ACKM Studio for Garima and Anshuman Kedia and their family of five. The name, derived from Sanskrit, translates to oneness, unity, and individuality – a concept that shaped both the architecture and the way the family experiences their home.

Designed in collaboration with Studio Way, the project’s scope included the complete interiors of the villa, the outhouse, and the party area. The home reflects ACKM Studio’s emotion-driven approach to design. It is conceived as a balance of contrasts: monumental yet comfortable, bold yet understated, expansive yet personal. Grandeur is expressed through proportion, light, and material integrity rather than ornamentation.

At its heart lies a soaring atrium that connects formal, informal, and private spaces with effortless flow. Each area carries its own identity while contributing to a larger sense of unity. Ekya is a home of scale and soul, where architecture becomes an expression of emotion and intent.
